It’s that time of the week again, when everyone is (hopefully) winding down to the weekend and I get the chance to talk about and recommend someone to follow.
This week’s #FNCK goes to Leigh Taylor @lat
Not only am I insanely jealous of Leigh’s ridiculously short Twitter handle – I’m also naturally envious of his design skills (I’ve mentioned to Leigh that seeing his work makes me want to jack it all in and take up crofting). I follow quite a few designers on Twitter & Dribbble but in my opinion Leigh is a heavyweight designer and his work on dribbble is a testament to this.
I had the pleasure of bumping into Leigh a few years back at FOWD when he worked for Coolpink in Leeds (it’s always nice to find fellow Yorkshiremen at such things) and since then he’s gone onto much greater things including working at @Obviouscorp and @Medium. (Be sure to check out his Medium Brand Development work on Behance)
One of his latest collaborative ventures, NoFlo, looks really interesting too. I won’t attempt to explain what it is here as the NoFlo site does a much better job than I ever could, but as a designer with modest coding skills the ‘visual’ coding idea really appeals to me.
You can also find out more about NoFlo on their Kickstarter page (I am annoyed that I missed the boat on that one). Robert Scoble also featured NoFlo on one of his podcasts:

If I ever get around to producing podcasts here myself I’ll be sure to ask Leigh if he’d be up for an interview.
